How to become a humanitarian deminer?
Study at the Humanitarian Demining Training Center
Our graduates receive a state diploma in “Demining” of the 1st or 2nd qualification levels. Duration: 8 weeks of training for the 1st qualification level and 4 weeks for the 2nd qualification level. Graduates receive an additional certificate of the first-aid training course

The Center’s Mission
Our mission is to give a quality education to a sufficient number of professional humanitarian deminers, enabling them to make a powerful contribution to protecting the population from explosive objects.
Our instructors
The Center’s instructors are demining specialists with extensive experience both on the battlefield and off. They have served in Afghanistan, the former Yugoslavia, Lebanon, and, of course, Ukraine during the 2014 invasion and the full-scale war since 2022.
Who studies at the Center?
The Humanitarian Demining Training Center trains employees of international organizations engaged in humanitarian demining, such as The HALO Trust, FSD, NPA, MAG, as well as employees of Ukrainian organizations and foundations.
The Center has already trained over 450 deminers who are currently working in the Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions and are purifying Ukrainian land from the menace caused by hostilities.
